33cl shared bottle @ home from local supermarket. Body is clear, ruby-amber, Head is medium, cream-white, cramy, mostly lasting, good lacing. Nose is honey, Aroma is hone, caramel, red fruits, light herbs, light spice, belgian yeast. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, light sour, Finish is average lasting, sourish fruity, sweetish, light alcohol warmth. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation. Quite easy, tipical belgian ale with light spicy-herby flavor, a bit too sweet

Oh, you get planty: brown sugars, alcohol burn, licorice, nuts and a finish that combines hop bitterness and subtle sweetness. The medium body is dominated by the malty alcohol character. Well, I think I expected more… more taste, more character, more inspiration. But no… Still it’s a good beer, nothing wrong but nothing special either.

Fruity, caramel tones. Nice beer, not to strong and not to heavy in taste. Still kinda average though.

Bottled from Mitra, Baarn, The Netherlands. Can?t believe i haven?t rated this one yet. Clear ruby colored, small off-white head. Beautiful nose of caramel malts, toffee, molasses. Sweet malty flavor, some hops, caramel. Bittersweet flavor. Actually nice to taste beers like this between all those overhopped beers these days.

30cl bottle lApperance:Cear ruby color with a small head. Aroma:Spices and candy some malts. taste: some moderate sweet caramel up ront with some spices and then finishing dry with bitter finish. Light bodied, with a bit too thin mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Something seems to be missing it’s a bit too thin.

On the bottle it states: Brand, Sylvester. Winterbier. I don’t know if all sylversters are winter beers, if not please classify this accordingly. clove, raisin, red, brown, soft carbonation, light body. Interesting start but lacks character. Too watery to be in the beer category.
