Bottle 30cl. @ home.
Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and burnt caramel bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090223]

From tap at de Wildeman. Pours clear and deep amber, golden with a small off-white and creamy dense head. Breadish and slight diacetyl like aroma. Roasted malt flavour with a slight metallic touch. Mild diacetyl note here too. Ends slight metallic, malty and somewhat bitter. No sweetness left.

Bottled. Reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is raisins, red berries, toffee, alcohol and spices. Flavour is berries, red berries, alcohol and some strange singy sweetness.

Bottle @ Norweigan Tasting, Odense. Pours amber with a small off white head. Sweet alcohol and fruit. Bubblegum, fruit and alcohol. Sticky and cloying.

Bottled (BB 12/2009). Thanks bierkoning. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Light caramelly-alcoholic aroma. Caramel malty, lightly alocholic, some hops in the finish - also notes of coffee-toffee candy. Hard "Brand-mouthfeel".

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer, with an off-white head. Alcohol, acetone notes, fruits and some sweetness in the aroma. The flavor is pretty much the same, with too much focus on the alcohol. Warming mouthfeel, medium to full body. Fruity finish with alcohol. Not all bad, like a malt liquor blended with a belgian ale. 091016

Amber with a small white head. Aroma of banana, berries, and bubblegum with a touch of vineous alcohol. Dry and alcoholic flavour with fruity and grainy notes.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2011 From tap, Cafe Morshuis in Albergen. Sweet and rather alcoholic flavor. Butterscotch and a hint of cherry. Buttery with some pale ale-like hopbitterness. I liked the bottled version better, but that has sadly disappeared from the market. 2010 bottle, tasted feb 2011. Amber color. Maltaroma with cookie dough. malty sweet, doughy flavor with soft perfumed notes. Hints of alcohol. Not unpleasant, but lacks some character. Rating unchanged.

Bottled, 330ml at Locus Publicus, Delft. Amber with white head. Quite disappointing this beer, quite tinny in flavour initially then a sharp fruitiness and a little bitter. I couldn’t get to grips with it really, could be a lot better.

Bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, alcohol, malt, butterscotsch, apple. Medium body. A little bit boring beer.
