3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DanBerg (59) - Alkmaar, NETHERLANDS - DEC 13, 2006
Very, very nice full bodied pilsener. The taste is hard to describe but it’s really authentic and hoppy. The commercial description says: ’strong taste, dry aftertaste’, and that’s right. I only drank this beer in bottles, I’d like to try it on tap.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 KnutAlbert (4600) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 26, 2006
Draft in the Hague. Very aromatic pilsener, the hops are running the show here with straw and flowers dominating.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 larsga (4661) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 5, 2006
Big creamy white head over pale yellow body with carbonation. Faint sweetish light malty aroma. Taste is light, delicate bitter grass and milky malts with a dry, chalky aftertaste. Good for a pilsener. (0.25l on draft.)
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 altonbrownd (3581) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 30, 2006
On tap at Kobalt. Very good pilsener. Had a bit more taste to it than its (Dutch) peers. Hoppy taste. Little bitter. Okay enough head.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 messymatt (36) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 15, 2006
I reckon this one is pretty good, recommend you try one instead of the standard Dutch fare.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 turbothy (967) - Bonn, GERMANY - APR 16, 2006
This may well be the best pilsener I’ve ever had. Has a very nice and full hoppy/malty aftertaste and just the right amount of bitterness.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MiP (11783) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2008 Bottle. Fruity aroma, seems a little peppery. Golden colour, stable white head. Slightly sweet flavour, malty. Bready aftertaste with a harsh bitterness. Seems like a dortmunder to me. 7 3 5 3 10
Draught, 5.5%. Very weak aroma. The flavour has a little malt and nice white bread. The finish is more like rye. Creamy mouthfeel. Quite clean. 5 3 5 3 11
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2005
Light golden pils with a thick foamy white head. Skunky green bottle aroma, with german hops. Crisp in mouth, with biscuitty malt, rather benign. A bit oxidized, May 1,2005 at 2nd KBC Festival, Den Bosch, NL.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 sybbor (1) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 16, 2005 does not count
This Pilsener beer has been my favortie ever since. First it was called Up52 later just UP. Even though the bitter character of the beer has been diminished now that it is called UrTyp, it’s become maybe even better than before. Frsh tasty hoppy and strong bitter. Nicely poored out in long glass stylish glass.
