UPDATED: MAY 18, 2013 Bottled from local supermarket. Hazy golden colored, lasting white head. Weizen aroma, some banana, hops. Wheat and fruit in flavor, combined with quite a lot of hops for the style, which works out very nice. Mouthfeel not as thick as most classic hefeweizens. Short bitter finish. Brand really has a nice angle on the style. Pleasantly bitter, easy drinking.

300cc tap. Nice cirtric aroma. Not very weizen. Nice carbonation. Decent beer that pairs nicely with light meals.

This beer is a weizen in name only. Almost as clear as a lager. Tastes reasonably citrusy but is quite thin.

On tap at Café Kalkhoven Amsterdam, september 28th 2014. Cloudy yellow body with a thick white head. Aroma of banana, wheat, apples. Taste is wheaty, mild yeast notes, some fruit towards the finish. Heavy sweetness. Mild spicy and sweet aftertaste. Not the best example of a gehefe

Ijskoud uit koelkast als honingstroop in mijn glas. Dik mondgevoel. Verfrissend, zacht en troebel. Zoals ik mijn vrouwen ook graag heb.

On tap. Hazy yellow with white head. Slight spicy yeasty aroma. Taste has some banana and spiciness with yeast but muted compared to good German versions. Not too sweet , dry and refreshing on palate. Ok for a light afternoon beer

from tap. poured a hazzy yellow golden colour with a big lasting white head. some hops, banana. Typical Brand taste which is a plus, but can’t compete with the german weizen

Appearance: Cloudy orange golden color with a thick white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, yeast, mild acidic, some spices and banana.
Palate: Medium to full body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average to rich carbonation.
Taste: Wheat, mild citrus, a bit fruity, some spicy notes, yeast and balanced mild banana.
Overall impression: Nice refreshing and tasty. Not as much acidity as a Belgian wit and not as sweet as a German hefe weisse.
Personal stats: Bottle from Miranda
