Had this at the Cambridge beer festival, wasn’t taking too many notes that day. This beer gave a little more than its looks suggested. The flavours ran reasonably deep and it had a drinkability that made it pretty popular.

BC. White slick over snowstorm yeastiness, opaque with chunks. Oops. Bit of parsnip and cooked veg aroma, grapefruity citrus struggling to escape from beneath. Good leafy US citrus hop with passion fruit hints. A bit damp and vegetal from the yeast, but quirky and enjoyable.

Bottle.Light brown in colour with a small head,aroma of malt and hops,tatse is malty and floral with a bitter finish.

Bottle at ronnies, bottle conditioned. Aroma is nutty, pale malts, grassy an hints of ink. Taste is sim,ilarly bready and grassy, bitter in the finish but the ink sneaks up on you and is annoying.
