Cask-conditioned at the Brandy Cask, Pershore, 27 May 2011. Amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish malyt and apricot aroma with a whiff of grassy hop. Solid maltg flavours with more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Good, but the weaker Whistling Joe had a lot more character.

Cask (handpump) at the Brandy Cask, Pershore, May 2009. Paler than the Whistling Joe but also quite handsome and served up in decent condition. Rather less assertive bitterness than the Whistling Joe. Fruity malt in evidence. Slightly sweet mouthfeel. Clean and pleasant.

Cask Stillage at the Racecourse, Worcester 17/08/2001 A golden coloured beer with grain aroma and flavour. Plenty of hops in the finish.
