Cask-conditioned at the Brandy Cask, Pershore, 27 May 2011. Medium brown with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of chocolate, caramel and hedgerow fruit. Flavour had sweetish, cereal malts, a lot more fruit and a dryish finish. Very drinkable for the strength and enjoyable.

Uncertain about style as this is a rather dark beer. The full bodied maltiness is in good harmony with all the flavours of dark fruits. It is quite complex, but still refreshing for its style. (Mild? Scottish ale? ESB?)
