It is a great little starter beer. It has a light copper color with a nutty nose. The taste is like you would think a little sweet, nutty light roast.

ROGUE (2085) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 17, 2008
On tap. Like most of their beers, amber colored with no head. Dominate taste is of sweet malts with a touch of nuttiness. BBC beers were never brewed very consistently, so one batch would be good and another bad.

Caramel in the nose, deep copper color, low head. Honey and syrup tones - very sweet. Light toasted end. Fairly smooth. OK balance. No real bad qualities, but unexciting.
