WOW. I had to dock the flavor on this because the spice is just completely overwhelming. I couldn’t even get half way through my pint before I passed it off to someone else. This is like a cinnamon slurry. Great aroma... this beer would be great if it was toned down. As it is, it is almost undrinkable.

Notes from last Christmas, and all these retireds make me think Btrandywine is done for. I had heard they were just moving down the road. Say it ain’t so!!! This one was like Old Fezziwig on steroids, with even more nutmeg and cinnamon, coupled with chocoff and nuts....a veritable liquid Christmas dessert beer.
