2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours clear golden with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and hops, with some estery notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with malty and estery notes and hints of bread and dia. Bitterish and bready aftertaste. Uninspiring and below the average for the style.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear golden, topped with a average white head. Mild malty aroma, some grassy notes. Taste sweet, grassy body with some mild bitterness in the finish. Nothing bad about it, but I expected a bit more.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Enjoyed a few pints of this beer at U Dragouna in Prague. The beer had a medium gold color with a big creamy white head along with excellent cling, lacing, and retention. The beer had a soft herbal and floral hops aroma with lighter notes of grain and some light caramel malt. It had a mildly grainy and bitter taste, with some notes of straw, and some herbal and floral touches. The beer had a crisp, wet mouthfeel with average carbonation and good overall character.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. I have a love/hate relationship with Branik and it’s the perfect thing to be drinking in the street or illicitly on public transport.. When I first moved here I failed to appreciate that. The 11 is far rarer than the 10 or the 12. A strange fruit. It’s golden and mildly hoppy and I highly recommend you drink it niiiice and cold.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle from the Billa near the Holešovice Marina in Prague. Shared with Ogivlado. Poured a golden body, full, with a thick white head. Man, definitely looks the part. The aroma is, meh, ok, I guess. Malty, sweetish, slightly peppery, vaguely dusty. Eh, industrial. Taste... oh damn. Watery, shitty sourish dull dry taste, wood? What the? Extremely vague herbal notes, almost no bitterness. A terribly executed generic industrial pale lager. Dry finish. Aaaa.... no redeeming features. An insult to the Czech Pilsner category.

Shared bottle at a park bench in Davle, Czech Republic. Pours straw coloured with a tiny white head. Grainy malty aroma. Taste is light sweet, standard european lager. Refreshing on a sunny day, thats about as positive I can get.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml bottle. BB 05/09/14. (Spar) Prague, Czech Republic.
Clear bronze golden colour with a mid-sized white head.
Grassy hops and malt in the aroma. Not bad.
The flavour is grassy hops, moderate (or even strong) bitterness and cardboardy maltiness. Low carbonation. Only the malt ain’t giving its best to this... A bit watery.
