name and design are made for german market. brown-red colour, small head. roasty smell with coffee and liquorice. starts as it smells. mid brings hops and sticky lips. ends roasty and hopsy.

Aug 7, 2008 50 cL bottle, as Branik Schwarzbier, 4.4. Pours clear and golden amber with a creamy and tan head. Spiced and breadish malt aroma. Flavour follows this closely with a spiced and breadish base flavour. Light liqourice like touch on top with a light roasted note. Ends dry and roasted malty.

Mar 21, 2008 Bottle. Light smell of chocolate, malty. Light smell of soured milk. Small brown fizzy-creamy head, fast and fully disappearing. Dark red-brown body. Light sweet body, short duration. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Too watery for my taste, not worth the money.

Sep 20, 2007 Aroma has roasted coffee malts and some grassy hops. Clear, black coloured with a red glow and an off-white, lasting head. Taste is a bit sweet with some light bitterness. Has coffee malts, roast and some hops in it. Nice Schwarz.

May 24, 2007 on tap in Prague. Looks beautifull, deep black colour with large head. Flavours reminiscent of coffee and caramel, quite malty. Only very slightly bitter.
