Light orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some orange notes as well as a lot of hops that add some nice peach notes. The flavor is full of peaches and oranges withs one biscuit malt and a bit of alcohol thrown in. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22oz bottle, bottled on 07/03/2013. Deep orange color, white cream. Aroma of floral hops, some bready notes. Sharp hop bite, lingers though the finish. Sticky body, heavy. Good for a Saison. (4055)

Jimthechap (1743) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 7, 2014
Slightly hazy orange appearance with a film of white head. The aromas are somewhat subdued. They give off orange peel and sliced green beans. Mercifully in the mouth is it citrus juicy and slightly bitter. It’s a pleasant enough drop this one. I’m not entirely sure it was worth the premium I paid for it, but when you’re driven to greatness by reviewing beer...

Golden honey with a half finger white head. Tropical hop nose. Big hoppy malty taste, kind of like an IPA. Finish with a floral hop bitterness. Not a saison, good though.

Pour on tap at Happy Gnome, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, lemon, some pear into lots of biscuit, bread, herbal notes with a hint of white fruits, and tropical fruits. Taste is a mix of lemon, biscuit, bread, some peach, pear, slight pineapple into grass, slight herbal and floral notes, finishing fairly sweet.

I suppose it is entirely appropriate to have this at a very cold outdoor event. Like, 5 degrees F... Unfortunately, I found this unpleasant, with too much hops and too bitter of a finish for the saison style, though some variation has been apparent in American renditions, to be sure. (on tap at Winter Beer Dabbler, January 2014).
