Not sure what you just drank? Wheat beer? IPA? Yes, it is. This mysterious ale boasts aromas of tropical fruit, a playful bitter edge, and the body and mouthfeel of an American hefe. Big alcohol and rich white wheat make this unfiltered ale accessible to all types of pallets.

Bought this in one of my favourite bottleshops in the US, Steins Deli in New Orleans .. .hazy dead peach gold .. Decent foam .. Woah-- copper, masking tape, janitor bucket, swamp, and hops from the talkie era .. . Dirty mouth .. Truly off putting and a beer i am having a problem even getting half way with .. . . Did this come out ten years ago?... Tastes like Crocodile Dundee’s Asshole..... After a two week-long walkabout...

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Martinus @ weekly tasting. Clear dark orange color, medium sized off - white head that diminishes quickly. Smell medium to full maltyness, some alcohol, hops, resin. Taste moderate to full maltyness, hops, bitter, resin, lightly alcohol. Nicely balanced, full bodied, medium carbonation.

Draft. Straw in color with tons of hop aromas pulling your nose right into the glass. Coriander, wheat bread, apricot, plum, peach and nectar. Long, long finish and great grains.

Bomber purchased at Holiday Wine Cellar ($9.49). Pours a slightly hazy red-amber hue with a finger and a half of white foam. Aroma of various fruits (both tropical and citrus) with some pine and resiny hops and lesser notes of caramel. Flavor of pine, grapefruit, and spicy hops, but with an unfortunate harsh alcohol burn. Heavy syrupy mouthfeel with some lingering hop bitterness and alcohol burn. Really, there’s wheat in here?? Cause I’m not finding it at all. A bit of wheat subtlety might be nice here. The hops are certainly big and brash but could be much more nuanced (take a hint from the west coast brewers who do big hops but make it interesting). However, it’s the big boozy alcohol that most causes this to fall to mediocre. (71, 810)

Bomber poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromasof biscuit, cat piss, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, dank bud, grapefruit and a hint of pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.
