3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cybercat (2519) - Georgia, USA - FEB 4, 2013Pours a clear dark amber with a fairly thick pale golden-wheat head. Strong aroma is quite fruity, mainly orange with some apple and lemon, and a wheaty hint. Flavor is quite hoppy for a wheat, a little bitter, with wheaty and fruity notes, a hint of yeast. Finish has hay, malt, fruity and - whoa, now there’s the hop bitterness, like an angry bobcat scampering down your throat. Quite an item!
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 fletchfighters (840) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 19, 2013
hazy orange color. Nice rocky one finger head. Good retention and some thick lacing. Slow ABV legs. Looks thick enough.
Candied citrus and jam nose. Think the hops have dropped off a bit, the wheat malt stands out. Has more of a nose of a wheatwine currently.
Drinks like a strong ale though. Stone fruit and jam taste. Some dank pineapple and pine notes in the back.
Medium bodied, some oil and resin. low carbonation. Well hidden alcohol. Not too bad.

Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours cloudy amber with a short off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a full-bodied pale maltish wheat flavor with a slight amount of ester fruitiness. A platypus of a beer, yet pretty tasty.

Good, dense, whipped eggwhite-like yellowish head, slowly collapsing over well-carbonated, surprisingly clear orange-amberish beer. Pungent hopsnose of exotic fruit, but also strong background aroma of vegetable frying oil, sweetish. Banana, babyfood. Bitter, hopoils with just a hint at fruity sweetness in the background, not coming through. As if canned exotic fruitmix had been covered with quinine - or iso-alpha acids, of cours. Bitter melon, cakebottom. Very slick hopoily, rather well-bodied. Discreet alcoholwarming. A bit harsh at face value, but it grew on me. Could have another like that.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with paperthin white head that diminishes to nothingt. The aroma is a strong grapefruit and floral. Medium mouthfeel with a strong bitter hop and fruit with nice lingering bitter finish. Really enjoyed this one.
