COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The quality of the cold brewed coffee that goes into Texas Exile is important to us. That’s why we hooked up with MA coffee roaster Barismo. These guys are as serious about coffee as we are about beer. About 33 gallons of cold brewed coffee goes into each batch of Texas Exile right before fermentation, adding the perfect compliment to the brown sugar and oatmeal flavors of this huge imperial porter. Breakfast just got a punch in the neck.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours pitch black with creamy dark khaki head. Huge espresso, salty soy, roast chocolate and vanilla aroma. Also a raisin sweetness and leathery yeast. Taste is very mocha-esque, with nice bitter-sweet after taste. Sweet, black coffee sits on the tongue for a while after swallowing. Awesome stout.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours pitch black with a sinisterly dark tan head leaving some great lacing. Aroma shows chilli chocolate, salt, espresso and vanilla. Mouth feel is very creamy and bitter sweet. Loads of bitter espresso with heavy doses of vanilla and dark cocoa. Full bodied and there is a warmth on the finish which works very nicely. Damn good stuff. Tastes like it has been brewed with good quality coffee and not some cheap extract

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 Bottle @ beer temple. Super coffee-forawrd beer, like a coffee radler. Its not terrible, spicy roasty.

Idiosynkrasie (1844) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 17, 2013
650ml bottle. Pitch black colour with small, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, brown head. Aroma has herbal hoppy overtones in the foreground, dark malty basis with intense coffee notes. Taste is dry dark malty, lots of coffee, roasted coffee beans, roast, very subtle sweetness, herbal and grassy hoppy overtones, lasting dry to bitter hoppy finish with hints of alcohol; oily texture, sticky palate. Not really balanced, nice coffee, bad hops.

Bomber split with Tomaz @ home. Love the label design.

GIJOE (128) - Monterey, California, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Pours black with a foamy tan head. Aroma is a blast of coffee, dark, bitter chocolate, toffee, anise. Flavor is bitter - hugely bitter, but I like it. I love it. I want more of it. Make it hurt, Drill Sergeant, make it hurt! Full body, very mild carbonation. Big, burly beast of a beer! Nice! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
