COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We love ipa. Especially big hoppy ones. This west coast style imperial India pale ale is not messing around. At 12% abv and 110 ibu’s, it’s the liquid equivalent of Lenny in John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men. Gently tending rabbits then suddenly….snap, it’s a whirlwind of crazy. Big citrusy aromatics, solid bitter backbone, and candy-like finish.

This pours big. Stout style foam that leaves a residual style lacing on the glass the way a good Petite leaves legs on a wine glass. I figured this one would slap my face with hops, but the 12% ABV dulled it down. You still got the pine citrus bitter, but this one was more complex malt forward in my opinion. That could have been the ABV. Deep cloudy amber color, the carbonation animated the beer to the end. You could have fun pairing this one with food. I will do this one again, give it a thumb and 3/4. Still hoped for that hop slap!

Pours amber into the glass with a huge head that leaves thick lacing. The nose is of stone fruits and candied oranges. The flavors have bold citrus, some candy and finishes with a huge piney bitter. The full body is sticky and substantive, complex and big. Absolutely love it!

Bottle thanks to Ben. Pours a cloudy orange with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong pine, hemp. Medium mouthfeel with strong hop bite, resin, and bitter finish. Very impressive.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Nose is caramel, peach and pear. Taste is lots of tropical fruit. Wickedly bold DIPA!

On draft, huge citrus aroma, not as much on the taste, a lot of hops. Very smooth, not as much punch as I had hoped for 110 ibus

Big bottle. Light orange, slightly hazy. White head. Grapefruit and overall citrus aroma. A lot of grapefruit. Tangy , but with hoppy citrus flavor and sweet finish. Very dry. Could have had better balance.

Bottle: Pours cloudy amber-gold with a short, light tan head. Aroma of old wood, earth, caramel malt. Resiny, breadheel, bitter wood, apricot flavours. Gets better and better the warmer it gets. This is a BIG beer....the earthy tones are amazing.

Caramel malt, tropical fruit dominate this beer. Alcohol is very well hidden. Not bad at all.

Bomber from Bieropholie, served cool in a tulip glass, shared. Hazy deep amber with a small, tan/yellow head. Rich maltiness, floral, woody, citrus hops, boozy, tons of caramel and dark bread crust. Medium+ body with moderate carbonation. Much like the nose with somewhat more hops and plenty of booze. Unapologetic.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr intensiv fruchtig malzig herb. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, fruchtig, klasse!
