COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We love ipa. Especially big hoppy ones. This west coast style imperial India pale ale is not messing around. At 12% abv and 110 ibu’s, it’s the liquid equivalent of Lenny in John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men. Gently tending rabbits then suddenly….snap, it’s a whirlwind of crazy. Big citrusy aromatics, solid bitter backbone, and candy-like finish.

This is a good one. Pours a golden yellow with big head. Strong hop/malt aroma. Flavor has loads of citrus and hops. Rather sweetish finish to it. It is pretty good--alcohol content is high, but it doesn’t taste boozy,

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Nose is caramel, peach and pear. Taste is lots of tropical fruit. Wickedly bold DIPA!

On draft, huge citrus aroma, not as much on the taste, a lot of hops. Very smooth, not as much punch as I had hoped for 110 ibus

Big bottle. Light orange, slightly hazy. White head. Grapefruit and overall citrus aroma. A lot of grapefruit. Tangy , but with hoppy citrus flavor and sweet finish. Very dry. Could have had better balance.

Bottle: Pours cloudy amber-gold with a short, light tan head. Aroma of old wood, earth, caramel malt. Resiny, breadheel, bitter wood, apricot flavours. Gets better and better the warmer it gets. This is a BIG beer....the earthy tones are amazing.

Caramel malt, tropical fruit dominate this beer. Alcohol is very well hidden. Not bad at all.

Bomber from Bieropholie, served cool in a tulip glass, shared. Hazy deep amber with a small, tan/yellow head. Rich maltiness, floral, woody, citrus hops, boozy, tons of caramel and dark bread crust. Medium+ body with moderate carbonation. Much like the nose with somewhat more hops and plenty of booze. Unapologetic.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr intensiv fruchtig malzig herb. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, fruchtig, klasse!

This brew is slightly cloudy with a yellowish head. The aroma is this ones highlight--it has hints of caramel and grapefruit. The taste was a letdown because it wasn’t as complex as I thought it would be--it had a citrus taste and hints of bubble gum. Mouthfeel was ok but it left my palate pickled in alcohol. It is worth a try.

22 oz bottle from the Argonaut into a pint glass. Accidentally left this in my car and it froze. Dark orange/amber and pretty clear (2nd pour was cloudy) with a frothy, lasting, off-white head, thick lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, citrus fruit, resinous bitter hops, light alcohol, pine, sugar and floral notes. Similar flavor, strong bitterness, sugary and sweet with light alcohol. Full body, goopy, sticky, dry feel and a lingering bitter finish.
