2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hotstuff (3249) - USA - OCT 28, 2009
Draft at Brass Restaurant & Brewery. Small white head that mostly diminished, transparent yellow body, uncarbonated pour, and a ring of lacing. The aroma was crisp, sweet, malty, hints of corn and hops. The flavor was crisp, sweet, some corn, and a dry finish. The mouthfeel was tingly and this is a medium bodied Pale Lager. Easy to drink and nothing to get real excited about.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 thedm (4124) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 20, 2009
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light yellow-orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The semi-thick mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of malt and mild hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 michael-pollack (4873) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2008
Draught @ Brewpub: Aroma of lemon, light hops, and corn. Smells like an American macro. Poured gold/apple juice/piss in color with no real head. Clear. Lightly sparkling. No lacing. Tastes of corn, slight hops, and lemon. Like an American macro with better ingredients. Light body. Average texture. Soft to average carbonation. Hop and lemon finish. Just slightly better than US macros.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JAN 26, 2008
This is the latest Brass offering to try to get the BMC crowd to try craft beers. It is what it is, a golden lager with a decent head and sweet malty smells with a touch of corn and a slight suggestion of grassy hops. The hops aren’t present in the flavor, just there enough to keep the sweetness in check. Curiously, I witnessed brewmaster Anthony Carollo giving some of his reqular BMC folk free samples, and this seemed to be too much for them. Oh, well.
