4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask conditioned at Birmingham Beer Fest ’11. Gold with white head. Crisp biscuity malts carrying a bouquet of lemon flowers, sharp and bitter. Lovely juicy notes, drying and lasting. My favourite beer of this Festival.

Tap East Collab Fest. Cask. Clear pale gold beer, residual white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish malts. Touch of floralness and then a little candy fruits. A pleasantly citric finish, mostly orange and lemon. Light semi dry finish. Decent.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear and firmly golden with a tight ringed white head and solid lacing. Nose is peppery papaya, pear drops and a grassy backbone. Swirls of smooth citrus, mostly light tropical fruit but fairly diluted and steering sweetness. Soft carbonation and clean, lightly tinselly mouthfeel. Finishes dewy, lemon concentrate and a decent creamy bitter linger. No bad but not but a bit of a soft touch across the board.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pint, cask: in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 6th May 2014. Pours a light golden colour with a white crown that left some heavy lacing on the glass. Hoppy and zesty, the zesty bit coming from the citrus notes that dominate the aroma and taste. Refreshing but too citrusy for my palate.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask, malty nose with hints of grapefruit, initially sweet with golden fruity and juicy malt, then drying rapidly with a sharp citrus and herbal bitterness, really well balanced and refreshing.
