Cask conditioned at Birmingham Beer Fest ’11. Gold with white head. Crisp biscuity malts carrying a bouquet of lemon flowers, sharp and bitter. Lovely juicy notes, drying and lasting. My favourite beer of this Festival.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Half pint, guest ale from cask at The Last Drop Inn. Creamy white head to a hazy, gold-amber coloured body. Dotted spots to the glassware. Grass and half-sweet malts to the nose. Taste character of juicy malts and lemon added by moments of dried fruits with a good bitter support. Good, with session qualities (York, 26.01.2013).

Smells of our sima - orangy. Pretty OK quaffable bitter, but a little wishy-washy. Touch of honey in there. A bit of ginger too in the late finish. Hops fairly raw. Perfectly adequate UK blond bitter, but nothing more.
