Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 28/04/10. Deep gold in colour with a decent white head. Sweetish malt aroma with some hedgerow fruit and leafy hops. Flavours of summer fruits, a touch of caramel, orange hop and dry finish. Good.

Cask Handpump at the Navigation Inn, Mirfield 27/11/2010 Pale hop aroma. White head. Clear golden coloured hoppy fruity and a little sour with a hint of dryness in a bitter and earthy malt finish.

The Criterion, Leicester. Brilliant gold with white halo. Firm meaty chunks aroma- 3 is generous. Meat taste with lemon and wholemeal. Bad, barely drinkable...possibly not in the best nick. Brass Monkey brew better- will revisit.
