Cask (Cambridge Blue, Cambridge)
Sweet malty bitter, a touch of barkiness. Finish dry and wooly. Fairly solid bitter, but unexceptional. May have been beginning to tire.

Cask at Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Poured out of sight, so not sure if it was pump or gravity dispense, and to be honest, it was a little on the warm side. First impression of the aroma was grapefruit, however sweaty malt developed in aroma and taste. Some bitterness.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2009 1. Cask Stillage from the Cellar at the Harlequin, Sheffield 13/12/2008 Hop aroma. Amber coloured and fruity with some dryness and bitterness in a crisp full malt finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Brass Monkey Brewery, Sowerby Bridge 15/08/2009 White head. Hop aroma. Amber golden coloured fruity and hoppy pine flavour with a crisp and slightly bitter malt finish.
