Aroma fresh hop feel, amber malt with Belgian yeast character. Hint of bubble gum, malts at end.
Appearance red hint on amber. Large floaties in liquid. Medium large white top.
Flavor and Palate : Spicy yeast side, nutty with soft palate. Cellar like feel. Nutty malty finish. Good.

A nice walnut colored foggy robe topped by a medium clear white head. Aromatic nose with subtle notes of pear and hops. Rich complex taste offering hints of pears and cereals that let it start out sweet and finish with a great bitterness. I have a 2011 bottle in my cellar I just can’t decide to open. Being only at 7% ABV, this beer must have an aging potential of up to 3 years so mine must have lost its greatness. If I ever make up my mind and open I will update this review.

RexTalionis (2618) - FINLAND - DEC 25, 2014
Bottle 75 cl, capped with a flip-top cork on the side. Slightly hazy amber in color with frothy and foamy whitish head. Fruity, very fruity notes actually, some grainy notes and dry earthy garden notes in aroma. Sweet fruits-in-a-box, summer meadow and hints of bitterness in taste. Smooth mouthfeel. Crisp and refreshing brew with some white pepper spicyness and a nice garden fruity finish. Good with some lighter brew between all the heavy and rich christmas ones here.

Bottle from R.Leclerc, Riberac. Poured a hazy, dark golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of dried fruit, yeast esters and black pepper. Chewy fruit flavours, with some grain, melon and honey. Finish was grass, dried fruit and cereal.

Doe in Frankrijk als de Fransen. Koopt buitenlandsch speciaalbier. Want dit is knudde. Moet spicy zijn maar is me te zoetzuur. Nee niet vies maar ik ben er klaar mee. Muffig etiket en te slap en sloom bier... Adieu...

Bottle from a multipack from the brewer bought in a French Hyper-U. Very lively - necessitating a quick pour and some big suspended chunks of sediment as a result. Otherwise pours amber with a rocky cream head. There’s quite a bit of flavour to this - Fruity with spicy notes and an alcohol kick. Caramel too. Decent.

Bottled 07/08/14. A blonde beer with a white head. Malty with plenty of cereal notes. Belgian and French style low hopping. Seems quite boozy. Decent enough.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A brown orange opaque beer with a medium white head. Average retention. Aroma of spices, smoke, fruit, bread (light). Medium sugary sweet, dry medium refreshing bitter. Medium body and texture. Good carbonation, sweet finish with a bitter note. Overall, a good spicy "sweet>bitter" beer from Bretagne.

Bottle from a friend. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin whispy white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is medium sweet, light bitter with a zesty citrus fruit malt palate with a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

Hugi (413) - Waldkirch, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2014
Dark golden and clear, later hazy because of the yeast with a medium head. Smell is slightly sour with hints of fruits and grains and spices. Taste is grainy, a bit fruity, spicy, hints of lemons. Full body, long lasting, medium bitter, taste. Edit: Very long lasting spicy taste - cinnamon, a bit pepper.
