Bottled. A dark brown beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and brown sugar as well as a lighter note of chocolate and an edge of phenols. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a dry phenolic, spicy, and roasted finish. A bit off. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Hazy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Finished sweet.

Unclear medium to dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, cold coffee - hard roasted. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, light dark chocolate, coffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100607]

Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a very dark brow - cose to black actually - with a vague orangey hue and a creamy beige and lacing head. Hard roasted malt in the nose. Medium body, hard roasted malt, some licorice and a discreet malt bitterness. Pleasant. 070610
