UPDATED: JUN 16, 2008 IS+ 6.1% - black coloured with a robust beige foam; solid roasted aroma of prune and licorice with notes of black chocolate in the background; good malt body and a solid carbonation, a fair bitterness introduces a roasty and slightly dry aftertaste of ashes and chocolate (5/7/7/4/15)

11/2007: courtesy of Laurent Mousson and Dominique Javet - dark black colour with a little dark beige foam; correct lacing; complex aroma where notes of ashes, oranges and black chocolate play nicely together; decent malt body; the initial sweetness is quickly followed by a solid dry bitterness; very dry bitter aftertaste of ashes and cold coffee - a beer with class and character
