omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 16, 2007 Bottled, thanks Bov! Transparently black, creamy beige head. Aroma of tart raspberries with salty licorice underneath. Dryish and light bodied were tobacco and licorice meets fresh raspberreis. The missing link between a softer Irish stout and a frambozenlambik. A dangerously wild idea, but who dares wins. ante (2525), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 14, 2007 Bottled. Black with brown edges. Low but firm beige head. Intruiging and funny aroma of mildly acidic fresh wild raspberries with notes of almonds. Subtle notes of roasted malts. Roasted malts and nougat in the flavour but is quickly overshadowed by acidic wild raspberries. Fresh raspberries and almond in the refreshing finish. Now, this was a funny and quite uniqe beer. Thank to Per for this one. Bov (4659), Bienne, Switzerland Aug 3, 2007 courtesy of Laurent Mousson; a stout brewed with raspberries - dark black coloured with a little dark beige head; robust raspberry aroma with chocolatey hidden notes below; rather low carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel, medium-bodied with a late tart acidity; long acidic raspberry finish with a touch of chocolate - deeply interesting but lacking of balance: the fruitiness dominates too much
