Pour is a clear golden color, little bit of yeast floating around, with a fluffy white head. Very floral nose, slightly spicy and citrusy, some pine, and a little grassy. Grassy and slightly peppery taste, there’s some not-quite-dark fruit in there, almost a perfumey taste. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Quite tasty, very floral, but the aroma was a lot better than the taste.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #714, bottled 13.11.2012, BBE 31.05.2014
Aroma has grass, yeasty notes, some apricot and citrus. Flavour has citrus, some spices, apricot, sweetish malt and hints of honey. Finishes with grass and distant herbal notes. Closer to a Belgian blonde than golden ale. A bit too stuffy and yeasty but decent anyway.

Nice light floral Belgian. Pours blond with decent head and some lacing. Light Belgian yeast and some aroma. Finish is a little sour with some sweetness. Some peripheral booze, but well-blended overall.

Bottled (from Ales By Mail). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, mild glue, some sugary notes as well as some floral and toffeeish notes. Flavour is quite much sugar, glue, mild sweet malts, some zest, yeast and floral notes. More of a Belgo blonde, than a British Golden/Blonde Ale.

330ml bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks). Clear golden color. Small fizzy head, stays. Sweetish, dusty hops, flowers in aroma. Mellow dusty hops, brown sugar, malty flavor. Sense of alcohol in aftertaste. Quite drinkable.

Hate to admit it but the Frogs put out a pretty good brew. Pours crystal clear amber with a white head. It has that Belgian like aroma and taste. Well balanced and quite refreshing.

330ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Finland)
Massive floral estery aroma, a touch of the malts and yeast of a Belgian ale. Clean crisp palate, a little sweet. This is a Belgian blond, not a Golden ale. Rather simple as such. Smooth body, heading towards slick. No yeast is a bit of a negative for this style, in particular as it’s sweet. I prefer my fullness to be breadier. Adequate, nice even. Sugars cover the alcohol, but replace it with sugars.

See through yellow beer with a brief white head. Smells like a pale lager with flowers. Mouth feel is soft and round. Very sweet taste with strong floral notes. Wow what a taste. Medium bitterness with strong flowery, yellow fruit and fruit candy notes. This is actually a lot better flavor wise than the looks and aroma lets you suspect. A very different brew I think.
