Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is lively.

Botled. A golden beer with sediment floating around under a white head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of alcohol and fruits - especially peaches and oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops, peaches, and other fruits. The alcohol leaves a slight burn in the top of the throat.

Bottled. Golden colour, big creamy white head. Sour citrusfruit in aroma along with some alcohol and fruits. Flavour is very much the same along with big earthyness in it also.

75cl bottle at Chris Shindig. Gold with lasting white head. Bit of banana ester. Quite a nice aroma, bit of sourness, nice enough and good carbonation. I had a second glass so I must have liked it.

Bottled - Chris O Shindig 2007 - A golden coloured beer with winey apply aroma. The taste has malts and some peppery hops. Decent enough.

bottle with thanks to jaghana! Clear, perhaps slightyl hazy golden colour, medium white head. Fruity nose. Medium-bodied, malty base with a lovely fruity character, some dry and resiny hops towards the finish. Well balanced., very enjoyable.

Bottle, at London Shindig. Gold, with a fluffy white head. Spicy, yeasty aroma. Rather herbal flavour with a slightly sweet finish. Pretty decent and drinkable. Not really a Biere de Garde, except in so far as every French beer seems to get lumped into that style.

A Mes rate: 75cl bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Quite a lively fizzy blonde in the glass with a white head and plenty of lace. Lemony and quite sweet. Slightly spicy finish. Straight forward French blonde (I like those...) Pretty dull but nothing offensive.

Rastacouere (6137) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 3, 2007
Hazy, very effervescent golden ale mounted by a large, healthy white foam. Subtle smell proposes gentle tartish hay-like notes with fresh cream, soft herbs and mild hops. Not very forward. Sweetish, light and honeyed in mouth. Fresh vanilla undertones eventually emanante from the rear. Sour and dry finish with a burst of bubbles. Not much to make of this one.

Bottle@Chris_O’s. Initially very sugary and yeasty, quite sweet as well. There is noticable alcohol in the finish, and there are subtle notes of both citrus and apple fruit. Feels a bit raw, and a bit thin as well.
