Bottle, 75cl corked. A big, white head leaves some lacing over a slighlty hazy golden body. Sort of chalky, funky nose with fruityness and some white sugar. Boring, and that goes for the flavor too. Some cellarish, corked notes in the flavor, and with some pale malts and white sugar in the back. Fruityness and some bitterness. Medium body, a bit low on carbonation. Long fruity finish with a touch of metal. Boring. 150814

jaghana (4729) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - MAR 2, 2015
Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer, nose is on Belgian yeast. Aroma is on sweet malt, wheat touch, yeast, typical orange notes, not than alcoholic, medium bodied, not too bad for a cheap strong beer. Finish is a bit sharp

beer-yum (879) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 13, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2014 A serviceable example of the style that provides a nice contrast to others of the breed. Unfortunately, most of the others are better in the end.

Golden shiny body and small grey head. Simple malts, alcohol, thin, bit peachy perhaps. Simplistic body and not warming yet alcoholic. Nice body, fits well with a Tripel, but eventually won’t blow your mind. Or even tease it. (33cl bottle from Christmas gift pack at Auchan)
