2009-06-05. Bright pastel yellow body with a modest white head. Powerful bold aroma of fresh ginger leaps from the glass in a hurry, muted background of malt. Flavour is similar, with strong character of sharp fresh ginger, or a bit like the sushi ginger. Pale malts are mostly an afterthought, the growing ginger leaves the mouth a bit tingly. (6+) Average plus palate is smooth and suits the beer nicely. Refreshingly brisk, I can see pairing it nicely with sushi or asian food but its just too much ginger for me to enjoy in more than small quantities. I am amazed at the guys ordering pitchers of this! Bouteille de 341 ml achetée chez La Barik (Trois-Rivières, QC). Arôme: Odeur de gingembre et de céréales. Apparence: La couleur est blonde légèrement voilée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de gingembre avec une pointe de céréales et de citron. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est mince avec une texture huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence de gingembre en arrière goût. (Rating #2430)

Bottle - 341ml. Pours an opaque golden body with average carbonation and a white bubbly head that disappears immediately. Fresh but rather thin malty/hoppy aroma with flowery and citrusy hints. Taste carries ginger notes and ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Good effort, but slightly misbalanced.

Bottle: Poured a hazy blond color ale with a medium pure white foamy head with some retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of wheat malt with notes of orange peel and some light coriander. Taste is also dominated by some wheat notes with light spices. Body is quite full with nice bottle conditioning and good carbonation. Well done with no major flaws and medium complexity.

La bière est de couleur paille très trouble et possède un col de mousse fugace. Au nez on respire des arômes intenses de gingembre et de riz. En bouche le corps est mince-moyen avec une effervescence faible. On goûte des saveurs de zeste de citron et de gingembre.

Bouteille brune de 341 ml. Arômes de gingembre présentant également des touches citronnées. Robe beige et trouble, peu de mousse. Le gingembre domine totalement en bouche et cache la légère acidité de céréales présente et les touches citronnées. Plutôt déséquilibrée, pour les amateurs de gingembre.
