341ml bottle 5.5% ABV I tried this beer on August 18, 2010 at "Smokeless Joe’s in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden orange into the glass with a thin white head. The aroma was strong ginger, some floral hops, and malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was overwhelm ingly ginger, with some sour notes, some pepper, and malt."

Bottle 341 ml. Pours hazy blonde. Some oriental flavour, ginger, rice, citrus, and spices. Altough I did not really enjoy this ber, I give extra points for the originality. Bouteille 341 ml.

341ml bottle. Hazy pale yellow with a white head that fades quickly. Ginger with light soy if the overwhelming aroma, reminds me of pickled ginger with a piece of sushi to be honest. High carbonation, but of cardboard, umami/soy, mild body, refreshing, ginger with some light malts on the finish. A very interesting beer even if I would describe it as a witbier.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is spiced and grainy. Ginger. Citric, ginger soapy and spiced to herbal. Medium dry finish. Ginger, not my thing - this presents this somewhat different than other ginger flavoured beers - but still...

341ml bottle. Cloudy golden pour with minimal head and no retention or lace to speak of. Heavy ginger and lemony citrus on the nose. Quite like and refreshing on the palate with the ginger flowing through all aspects in a less abrasive manner that I’d expected. That lemony note underpins through the entry and mid-palate but leaves off for a gingery spicy finish. No real wow factor but a solid brew for sure...as long as you like ginger.

Hazy blond beer with a good collar. Very strong ginger aroma. Very strong ginger taste. Maybe to drink with sushis.

On tap at the brewpub. Arma of light citrus, lavender, whoa, this is an odd combo. The flavor to me reminds me of that purple gum thrills! A very earthy lavender/soap, with a touch of citrus. This is so not for me,

12 ounce beer bought in Montreal more as a joke for footbalm than anything else. Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. A really interesting nose; massive ginger- citrus and spice. The flavor is nice; spicy, dry, Belgian yeasts, smooth citrus. Easygoing and interesting.

Aroma is watery hops and ginger. Has little head and a completely orange body. Flavour is all ginger. Bitter finish. It’s an experiment for sure, and it went horribly wrong.
