3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
I feel slightly inclined to write part of this review in French, since it’s Montrealaise, but I’ll just be on the Anglo-side of the city and stay en Anglais. Crisp, clear slightly orange golden blonde coloured body with a large, thick off-white head that leaves a lace on the glass. Aroma of fresh malt, light hops, citrus, a bit of caster sugar and some very mild coriander seed freshness. Light-bodied; Fresh malt flavour with some very subtle corn and yeast with an odd fake-sugar sweetness. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, but left mostly mild from the lack of real flavours and complexity. Overall, not such a great beer, but perhaps good and fresh when the weather is very hot - when is that in Montreal?!? I sampled this 341 mL bottle purchased from Marche Des Saveurs in Montreal, Quebec, Canada for CA$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 24-January-2011.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma has soft malt hints. There’s little head, and a weak orange body. Flavour is a smooth hoppy lager taste. Smooth mouthfeel. It’s drinkable and simple.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle PELUSO - pours clear gold tinge of copper. Smell-wise, I’ll go with the ketchup chips comment, weird acidic tomato and stale potato aromas, grainy. Taste is also a bit grainy but has some pale sweet fruit, swirling bitter hop middle thru finish. Can’t say if its corn-like but definitely chewing on some cereal flakes here. This is a gritty kitty drank from bottle, and I was almost digging the beers fresh at the pub. Two beers from these guys I pour in the sink today! Hope you Ontario fish like it.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bouteille 341 ml. 5%. Couleur jaune assez pâle. Claire mousse blanche. Arôme de malt et houblon. En bouche, légèrement sucrée, notes de maïs et malt. Finale sana amertume. Bonne et rafraîchissante.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours on the lighter side. aroma of light malts and higher phenols like corn mash and ketchup chips. flavours are fast, light, crisp. There isn’t a whole lot happening but it is not that offensive. more light malt notes and mostly just an average brew.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
341ml bottle. Pours slightly cloudy bright yellow. with a white head and little lacing. Nose is very heavy on cereal grain that follows through on the palate in an unpleasant way. Not only bland, but semi-offensive to the senses.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341 ml bottle from Premier Wine & Spirits (Halifax). Pours a slightly hazy gold with a decent-sized white head. Mild but pleasant floral and citrus aromas. Flavour is quite sweet with distinct floral character giving way to more caramelly taste with a light citrus presence throughout. Light body but not overly so. More character than a typical blonde ale.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I agree with jerc from Toronto. His notes are accurate. Beer was thicker than expected for a blond Canadian beer. White head. estery with floral notes as well as fruit... Orange blossom is present in finish. I brought this back from CANADA with a number of other beers. Pretty darn average!
