I agree with jerc from Toronto. His notes are accurate. Beer was thicker than expected for a blond Canadian beer. White head. estery with floral notes as well as fruit... Orange blossom is present in finish. I brought this back from CANADA with a number of other beers. Pretty darn average!

Griffintown Montrealaise. Clear gold, filmy head make for a good looking blonde ale. Grainy, lightly suit with a touch of biscuit makes for a pretty standard blonde. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is earth, light malts, a bit metallic with a dry chalky bitter finish.

Pours a clear very light yellow. Aroma is mostly malty and some hints of fruits. Taste is some maltyness, stronger fruityness but generally quite dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and very dry. Generally drinkable but a bit too bready.

from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - hazy dark blond beer with a moderate foam left; light fruity and flowery hoppiness; medium-bodied, some swetness, low bitterness; yeasty and flowery finish with some residual sweetness

*Beer Review* Brasseur De Montréal Griffintown Montréalaise Slightly hazy golden pour with quite a bit of white head that faded quick at first but left a thin head and lots of lacing. Fruity and hoppy smell. Very fruity mouth. A touch sour. So much more going on here than the last blonde I just finished. Banana? Yeasty finish. Overall rather good.

Enjoyed at the Bistro L’Autre Oeil in Aylmer, QC. Pours a golden colour with a great white head that lasts a very long time with decent lacing. Nice fruity malt aromas with some grain in the background. The taste is milder with the fruity malts and a little bitterness in the finish. A nice fruity malt beer that goes down nicely like my go-to Boréale beers. Gets hoppier as it goes. A better pale session beer than macros. I really enjoyed this one.

Couleur or pâle avec reflets verts.

Bottle 341ml. Pours clear pale blond with almost no head (white). Aroma is of sweetness, corn?, malt, flowers, honey. Taste is of sweetness, malt, corn?, sligth bitterness. Palate: ligth body. Overall: Easily drinkable. Thin. Better than expected. Still... better served cold...
