Bottle at the brewpub. Clear golden pour, small white head. Aromas of grainy malt, some light sweet corn, and really no hops. There is an odd sweetness im not enjoying, its really like corn. This really tastes very macro in flavor. I wonder if it was a bad bottle?

341ml bottle pours a standard golden lager color with a quick dissipating white head that leaves virtually no lacing. Aroma is grains and hops. Taste is grains and hops. Overall, just a tiny bit better than a typical macro lager.

Well, this was a a pale lager and I got not a whole lot else to say about it. A small bit of bitter at the end, that’s it.

Yeah! The Lager to end all Montréal lagers! What in the hell does that mean, idunno - all I know is that this brew has been staring at me from many a dép’s fridge for a number of months now, and I had ignored it. Yet now, upon the cusp of my departure from la belle province, j’ai pensé que çe sera bien d’essayer çette bière.... donc, I bought a bottle. And the appearance is below average - all the right elements, with white head and a boring gold colour, but they are not assembled here in a superlatively attractive methodology. The aroma is crappy fruity lager notes with some grain. The flavour the same; fruity lager notes. I guess this stuff is meant to take on the macros, and it’s certainly better than a macro; but otherwise, if given the choice between this and a bullet in the face, I’d have a hard time deciding.

341ml clear bottle. Typical yellow colour with a thin coating of white bubbles on the surface. Grainy aroma with faint grass. Flavour is grains, light hint of orangey fruit, minerals and light grass hop notes. Very low bitterness. Strong carbonation, medium body. Inoffensive, but a bit better than the normal macro fare.

(Rating #3249)

Pale in color, aroma and taste of grain and wet cardboard. A little better than macro swill, but not by much.

Bouteille 341ml.

Another long-weekend-at-the-lake lager. I’m not going to comment on the appearance, since the bottle is clear and you can see for yourself. Aroma is weak grains. Flavour is the same, with some apple fruit in the finish. Not bad, but not worth premium prices.
