Amber colored beer with a small white head. Caramel and malty taste and flavor but nothing outspoken. Hardly any hop bitterness noticeable. Very dull beer.

This beer poured flat and lifeless with just a tiny oil slick of a head. I’m sensing a bad bottle here....My previous tick was for 4 stars, but this one is no where near close. No carbonation. Aroma is dried fruit and molasses.Taste is wood, prunes and brown sugar. Need to find another one....

Light hazy orange amber coloured beer with some light carbonation and a small white head. Sweet light fruity and yeasty hinted aroma with some banana yeasty hints. Full creamy palate. Finish is bitter fruity with a long dry yeasty ending. Not bad.

courtesy of the Aellig’s family - cloudy dark blond colour with a little persistent foam; estery aroma with notes of apples; high carbonation and a medium malt body; pretty tart and with a low bitterness; sweetish and estery fruity finish - modest

Fluffy, just off-white head, gushing over the table, leaving some pale copper beer. Sourish, mouldy lemon, farmyard odours. Strange, spicy, lightly acidic flavours, other grains notes. Wry, nearly tart. Infected. No sweat.

Bottled. Bought in a supermarket in Wintzenheim, Alsace, France. Aroma is yeasty, has cooky, bit citric and grassy. Clear, copper coloured beer with a white frothy head. The taste is bit yeasty, malty. Uninteresting taste. Light-medium bodied and quite carbonated.

Bottled. HAzy copper colour, small head. Lots of butterscotch and butter fill up the nose. Sweet and soft with butterscotchy diacetyl all over. A bit fruity with medium-full body and low bitterness. I love butterscotch, but this one is testing my limits.
