Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear dark golden color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly metallic, moderately bitter, a distant hint of sweetness, maybe brown candy sugar, can’t quite put my finger on it. Average body, a bit sharp carbonation. Hmm average.

Bottle @ benzai. Amber colour with a medium sized white head that doesn’t last. Smells some malts, some hay, very little smell. Tastes malts, sweetish. Not really bad but more boring than watching long distance running matches. Thin body, soft carbo.

33cl bottle. Clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Caramel, malts, straw and yeast in the aroma. Average to soft carbonation and medium body. Taste is sweet with some metallic and medicine notes. Overall, a dull beer.

0,33 bottle courtesy of Fredric, a French colleague. Merci. Pours a nice amber, cloudy with a decent and long lasting off-white cap. Nose: mmm, anonymous, a bit of a dusty aroma, butter and caramel far away. I am kind of guessing these notes since the nose is truly flat for such a style. Anyway...mouth: carbonation is not in style, sorry. The beer is flat, confusing bitterness, lack of character. Some malty feel and...meh. Bummer!

Golden with a tiny white head. Malty and flowery notes. Malt, fruit, caramle and hops. Medium body with a dry finish.

Clear golden colour, white head. Bit of a gusher. Malty aroma, straw. Malty flavour, sweet, caramel. Sweet malty finish, straw. Not very exciting.
(From 33cL bottle @ RBBWG III, Tim’s place. Thanks for sharing, Rian!)

a) 33 cl. A 2 14
Thanks to ThirstyBird for this one! The beer starts malty, yeasty. A bit annoying in the mainpart: malt with a metallic-dusty subtone. Not round. The aftertaste is a bit rough, sharp. Malty and slightly yeasty notes in the aftertaste, but nothing great or easy to drink. --> 6/9/7/7

→ Fast untrinkbar. Absolut nicht mein Fall! 4+7+3+2

18/I/14 - 33cl bottle @ RBBWG III, my place - BB: II/2014 (2014-66) Thanks to Thirstybird for sharing the bottle!

Gusher alert!
Clear orange beer, aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: grains, hay, cow fodder, straw, stable. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet, caramel, some grains, hay, sugary, bit bready. Aftertaste: very malty, grains, hay, little bitter, meh. This is a sad beer to have as my 100th Dubbel rating.

@RBBWG 2014. Thanks Sebletitje. Amber colour, no head. Very strange mettalic taste. Unbalanced. Very bad.
