2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, - AUG 11, 2007
Hazy amber colour with a large, frothy, off-white head and continuous carbonation. Very brisk and dry aroma, like unsweetened iced-tea. Aroma of dried apples, pears, strawberries, dead grass, hay and dried bananas. Flavour begins lightly sweet, lightly acidic and finishes lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium to light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dry champagne yeast aromas come on as it warms. Nothing terribly interesting going on.
33cl bottle, Duvel tulip.

Light hazy orange amber coloured beer with some light carbonation and a small white head. Sweet light fruity and yeasty hinted aroma with some banana yeasty hints. Full creamy palate. Finish is bitter fruity with a long dry yeasty ending. Not bad.

courtesy of the Aellig’s family - cloudy dark blond colour with a little persistent foam; estery aroma with notes of apples; high carbonation and a medium malt body; pretty tart and with a low bitterness; sweetish and estery fruity finish - modest

Fluffy, just off-white head, gushing over the table, leaving some pale copper beer. Sourish, mouldy lemon, farmyard odours. Strange, spicy, lightly acidic flavours, other grains notes. Wry, nearly tart. Infected. No sweat.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 skortila (4160) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2009
Bottled. Bought in a supermarket in Wintzenheim, Alsace, France. Aroma is yeasty, has cooky, bit citric and grassy. Clear, copper coloured beer with a white frothy head. The taste is bit yeasty, malty. Uninteresting taste. Light-medium bodied and quite carbonated.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 29, 2009
Bottled. HAzy copper colour, small head. Lots of butterscotch and butter fill up the nose. Sweet and soft with butterscotchy diacetyl all over. A bit fruity with medium-full body and low bitterness. I love butterscotch, but this one is testing my limits.

Bottle, 6.0%. Weak butterscotch aroma. Seemingly clear amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is caramelly with some butterscotch. It tastes OK together, though.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2008
Bottle@Home. Cookie dough aroma with a hint of orange. Chunks floating around, amber color, beige fine head, good lace. Sweet, bread, bitter, quite hoppy actually, tangerine, lightly spiced. Bit metallic and out of balance.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rastacouere (5920) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 17, 2008
Clear pale amber ale. Lasting off-white cover. Aye! Now that’s a pleasant surprise. Greatly extracted Vienna base malt, a bit musty, but very biscuity. Soft residual sugars accompany until the very end. Sweetish, tea-like, toasty and very clean offering. Gentle, fitting bready yeast. Mellow earthy, spicy concluding hops. A fine French ale, if simple.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ungstrup (23932) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 18, 2007
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a light spicy touch.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Jukkabro (3471) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 11, 2007
Dark orange colored with particles of yeast floating in glass. Medium sized yellow head. Lemony and yeasty aroma with some dried-plummy tone, some tangy berry sourness also can be noticed. Medium bodied. Flavor is also somehow tangy and biting with this berry yeastiness, sourness with carbonated palate here too. Some spices also in aftertaste with mild glue. Not very dubbelish brew for me...
