COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. Hazy pale amber, small head. Fruity nose with evient alcohol. Light-medium bodied with light grass and butter flavours not quite succesfully hiding stinging alcohol. Warming and potent.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy opaque amber body. Dried fruit and honey aroma with spicy papery notes. Dry-sweet raisiny malts taste with spicy honey notes. Fullish body. Faintly hot, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish honey and dried fruit aftertaste with grassy herbal peach notes. Nice, complex, full of character. Lovely! (0.33l bottle, from CitySuper IFC, Hong Kong.)

Foggy orange body and a nice big white head. Aroma is rotting shellfish funk, mouldy leather. Taste is an odd smooth mix of malts and vegetable extracts, creating something resembling a potato flavour. Dry finish. Odd and unique.

jaghana (2090) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - JUN 30, 2010
Bottle 33cl. An amber beer with medium carbonation. Smell is on amber malt/caramel and spices. Aroma is quite sweet, with yeast and agrumes notes. Amber malt and wheat malt are there, notes of spices too cardamone ? elderberry ? juniper ? Hop presence is medium to high, nice bitterness some honey at the finish, alcohol is detectable. Better than expected.
