Bottle to pint glass A very malty aroma with caramel, straw, toasted oats and lemongrass. A very effervescence red tinged amber with a mottled creamy head and lots of lacing. The taste is a little peppery and lemony along with caramel ending with straight bitterness.

Dark amber body, medium off-white head, spotty lacing. Heavy caramel malts, earthy and piney hops. A bit out off-balance towards malts for my life. Medium bodied, gentle carbonation, semi-sweet malts, light bitterness, a bit of a muddled finish.

Not all that great. A 90 minute hop and they cant get it right. Pours a bright golden orange with a disgusting soapy off white head. mild hoppy flavors with a bit of caramel and toasted bread malts. Just a boring IPA for such a high hopped brew.

Ambre/roux. Léger collet à grosses bulles. Nez: malté. Légèrement métallique. Raisin. Résine. Bouche: léger caramel. Un peu âcre. Florale. Raisin (jus).

Bottle from peluso. Pours light amber with some head that sticks around and some limited, but chunky, lacing. Nose is caramel. Notes of peach, caramel, Cheerios, earthy bitterness and maybe some breakfast tea. Taste is medium sweet and medium/light bitterness especially given the style. Full sticky body with medium carbonation and an abrupt dry bitter finish that doesn’t last very long. Just ok, too sweet for my preference for style.

lusikka (6184) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 5, 2013
341 ml bottle @ 2D2Dspuma, Barcelona. Pours a deep amber colour withba white thick head. Aroma of caramel, strong citrusy hops (Simcoe at least) and grassy herbal notes. Flavour of strong bitter hops with aggressive grassy hop profile, citrus, mellow caramel and some biscuit. Finishes lingering bitter, dry and maybe a bit thin. Could use a heavier body, but the bitterness (and the hop profile) is just about right.

Bottle,6%. Taster Pack from Sherbrooke. Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hoppy overtones, grapefruit, citrusy, toasted malt. Taste is more of the same, dry hops and roast malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of sweetness. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.
