American IPA 90 minutes, not a Dogfish Head 90 for sure, but in all, a good IPA. 100 ibu well done, but the sweet citrus is a bit overwhelming for an IPA. It has a nice caramel color, very cloudy, and a white-caramel head but gone in a flash, leaving a nice little lacing. That citrus-caramel taste lingers a bit to long over the usual bitterness of an IPA. Medium body, sticky, soft carbonation, and a bitter, but nice finish. In all, I enjoyed this beer, will have it again!

2013-01-27 341ml Bottle
Aroma: Caramel, small notes of citrus and toasted malt
Appearance: Light copper, hazy. Small cream head which leaves fine lacing.
Flavor: Sweet caramel malt and floral hops. Bitterness is well balanced with the rest. Light aftertaste of hops. Slighly dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with medium/high carbonation.
Overall Impression: Well balanced beer. Not an outstanding IPA but a good one. Hops aroma could have been more clear. Might be a little bit too sweet too.

341ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a 2 finger white head that settles down to leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some hints of caramel. Taste is a pine and grapefruit hop bitterness with a noticeable malty sweetness. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. A decent IPA that is worth a try.

May 3, 2012 - with blankboy, garthicus, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel. 341ml bottle c/o J&M. Hazy deep amber with a huge foamy tan lasting head. Fairly strong florally bitter aroma, some alcohol, an odd tang to it. Taste is fairly metallic, resin bitterness too but mostly pungently floral - a very light somewhat sweet fruity caramel malt backbone. Average body, solid carbonation, not a very long floral dry bitter finish, a bit sweet in the aftertaste - really didn’t love it.

341ml bottle in a park on a cold fall evening after work. Aroma is nice American hops, some malt. Good head. Taste is quite sweet, too much so for an AIPA in my opinion, though in its defense, the quality of the flavor is high. Good hop flavors and great bitterness. Would be better balanced with less crystal malt. Finish is nice, not as sweet. Overall, this beer is pretty good, but much too sweet to have a lot of. Seems like Quebec brewers like their beers sweet.

IPA américaine a 6,5% Biere plutôt rousse avec bonne effervescence. Faible mousse qui disparaît rapidement. Le houblon est très présent, goût de pamplemousse. Amertume importante en finale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Les Soeurs Grises, dark copper color, with a thick beige head, with a mild toasted, caramel malt, toffee nose with some floral leafy, citrus hop accents, with some lemon marmalade, faint orange peel notes in the aroma follows through on a medium- bodied palate with a nice toasted, caramelized malt, mild juicy flowery hop character of pineyness, grassiness, with a light lemon, lime peel citrus, leafy backbone, leading towards a soft malty, graininess, lingering leafy, citrusy, grassy hop bitterness finish.

Aroma: Smelling citric; Lemon, grape-fruit. And Pine.
Appearance: A clouded red amber, an off-white head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Slightly sweet, mostly hoppy, grape-fruit juice, peel and seeds.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, soft, oily with a good body, a dry finish.
Overall: A very hoppy straight AIPA.
Note: Bottle 341 ml, thx to KM. Reviewed 2012-08-25.

Deep copper in colour with a long lasting large white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is of orange citrus, earth, caramel sweetness, some floral hops. The flavour is moderately bitter, light citrus hops, light pine, some sweetness. Very thin mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes watery at first then a very long bitterness.

Not the best IPA, the aroma makes it seems like a rather hoppy beer but its just not the case.

Bouteille 341ml.
