Stout Moka. English: L’Exploité recalls a time when dark and sweet beers were the staple beers of the London Harbour porters who worked very hard unloading bags of mocha coffee and cocoa beans. L’Exploité is brewed with these ingredients and presents complex torrefied notes with subtle hints of vanilla. We find tastes of alchoolized coffee, chocolate and roasted malts balanced with the bitterness and the residual sugars. (Contains lactose.)

L’Exploite was served as a Montreal style cream ale(meaning a Nitro pour) at the brewery. It has a great roasty chocolate/coffee totally mocha aroma. Incredibly smooth and satisfying stout - a double prize winner WBC gold and WBA gold. Which it totally deserved, this was a well-nigh spot on stout.

Rien d’extraordinaire...

341ml bottle. Pours a thick black with a thin mocha head. Aroma is slightly sweet with lots of coffee, dark and milk chocolate, and mild roasted malts. Taste is on the bitter side with bitter, dark chocolate, roasted malts, and coffee bitter aftertaste. Medium-high body with a medium carbonation. Creamy texture in the mouth. Overall a really nice stout. Sweet enough but with lots of chocolate and roasted malts. Yum!
