3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bedainedebiere (493) - Terrebonne, - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle. Much more pleasant than their Blonde, although a little bland in its hoppiness, like this style commands (I’d like to be proven wrong here). Some sweet and fruity notes but a little short in the aftertaste. Interesting malty aroma with subtle hop notes. Overall, to me, not bad but rather boring.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 2, 2012
Purchased in their mixed 12-pack (Gamme sympathique 12 Mixte). Pours a dark amber colour with a big semi-creamy beige head that stays a long time and leaves patchy lacing. Lots of cereal grain aromas with caramel malts and fruit notes. The mouthfeel starts off medium-bodied but ends up very thin in the end. Kind of weird and disappointing that it does not last longer, stronger. The taste is not as intense as the smell (too bad). Mildly fruity with hints of nuts in the finish and a little hop showing in the aftertaste. Nothing really bad and overly decent. Just lacking a bit of strength in some categories.

Bottle. Flat copper. Front and middle are watery red ale but finish and aftertaste is woody paint thinner.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2011
A copper amber ale with a thin lacing off white to mocha head. In aroma, a herbaceous malt with light fruity esters, so-so. In mouth, a sweet treacle malt with very faint hops, watery bodied, nutty notes, very boring. On tap at Vices et Versa as Irish Red Ale, Dec. 16 2011.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 krinkle (12) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 17, 2011
This one have the good ingredients at the right place, but is really too thin. I miss the satisfying fullness of a red ale. It I could taste the caramel a little more, feel a little more body and if the color could be deeper, this beer could be one of the goods. Right now, it feel like a irish red ale version of a canadian pale ale.

Pours a brownish amber with a fizzy white head that quickly disappears. Aroma is metallic, caramel and malt. Taste is metallic, slight metallic, almost medicinal. Pass.
