UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 Deep brown pour with a tight white head. The nose is a little bit sweet and a touch of spice. A little not of clove and some plum/prune sweetness as well. A little bit of clove and nutmeg as well as some strng coriander flavour. . There’s a little bit of chewy sweetness and a bit of light molasses and spice. It’s very nice stuff.

Gusher! Pours a murky dark brown. Loads of yeast, spices, dark fruits. Quite a bit caramel malts and some lght grassy hops. Finishes quite bitter for the style and the sugars linger.

Brought from across the border, thought it was Canada’s attempt at a saison, but labeled Belgian Strong now understood after pouring it. Pours unclear dark amber chestnut brown with a huge creamy beige head. This baby gushed pretty quickly! The aroma is light sweet yeasty notes, but not full by any means. The flavor is sweet and yeasty on a smooth but full body, almost creamy but not quite.

Murky brown pour with a big tight tan head. aroma is fruity, malty, caramel, some toffee notes. Flavor is really sweet, a bit spicy, beer feels slightly underfermented. Sweet and sticky and fruity. Quebec beers all kind of have a similar twang about them. Not sure what that is. Not bad, but not great.

Bottle. Giant head, brown on brown. Lightly sour light earthy maly scent. Not a lot of funk. Caramel and roots and earth flavour. A bit sticky and muddy.

[bottle] Sour banana and brown sugar aroma with some caramel malt. Hazy chestnut appearance under a lacy brown cover. Sweet and sour flavour with brown sugar and a citrusy lemon finish. Sweet mocha comes in late. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, sweet finish.
