COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ahhh! English bitters! A very popular style in British pubs. They are easy to drink and highly thirst quenching with their slightly malty and hoppy dry profile. Our rye version brings a unique flavour to the blend to which the English hops Golding and Fuggle are added. La Seiglerie offers the typical bitter’s slight maltiness, with spicy flavours introduced by a good amount of malted rye. Dry hopping brings a floral finish without much bitterness. I’ll have another one, me lad!

On tap at the brewery, this rye bitter poured a beautiful amber with a thick fluffy beige head. It has a spicy fruity aroma with quite a thick mouthfeel for 4%and a nice malty spice character. A good table beer.

500 ml bottle from Drummondville Metro. Pours a murky copper colour with large eggshell coloured head. Aroma is on the mellow side with spicy rye and earthy bitterness. Flavour is dominated by spicy rye with some earthy and herbal notes. Drying finish. Good body for the ABV. Solid.

Hazy copper color with creamy off white head, aroma is malty with some light spicy hop aroma, taste is sharp and spicy, the rye and the hop combination makes this beer too sharp. More body would make this a better beer.

A seulement 4%, facile à déguster.
