pours hazy pale golden with a nice white head. toasted bread, sweet malts and wheat, light unripened bananas, touch of lemon and some spices, not much. semi-dry and short finish. classic, underrated.

Has a foggy gold body and a small bit of white head. Aroma of citrus with muddy grass notes. The flavour is a good mix of wheat and citrus with malt hints; this is a decent hefeweizen.

Bottle - 341ml. Nice hazy golden/orange body with a thin, fading white bubbly head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with strange bubble gum hints. its malty/hoppy taste lacks complexity. it carries grainy notes and ends with a short bittersweet finish. Not a very good Weizen.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Daytona00 (124) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 1, 2010
Bottle 341 ml. Blanche de Dunham. Cloudy yellow color. Medium head wich last. Chewing gum and babana flavor. This one goes down well. Like it and will drink it again sometime.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 cfrancis (1358) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2010
Pours a hazy straw yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is intense corn and wood. I can’t put my nose in the glass and not think of an early fall corn roast. Taste is sweet wheat and malt. The corn taste does follow through somewhat which is why I would like to see it changed. Doesn’t make it a good Hefe in my opinion.

Hazy golden colour with a thin white lace. Orange peel aroma with hints of herb. Crisp flavour with low carbonation. Flavour of honey, malt, orange and coriander. Refreshing ale. Very subtle flavours overall.

341 ml bottle from Depanneur Peluso, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. As “Blanche de Dunham”.
App.: Hazy deep golden with a frail white froth.
Aroma: Slightly funky, lots of banana esters, some green banana, a bit of wheat and cereal, very light clove.
Palate: Medium body, soft, sparse effervescence.
Flav.: More cereal, grain and grass than the nose, plenty of banana esters, still some unripe banana, a touch of clove; dry with a touch of bitterness and a pleasant biscuit malt finish.
Fairly good for style.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 UM02 (207) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 1, 2009
Decent Hefeweizen but a little bit too watery and lacking in wheat flavour to be a really good example of this style. Nevertheless still a decent beer if one is not expecting a replica of a German Hefeweizen.

Bottle labeled at Blanche de Dunham.
Hazy golden yellow pour, with a good amount of head. Nice aroma of banana and some good esters. Pretty typical and good for the style, but the flavor is where it goes off a bit, it’s a little too bitter for my liking of this style. it should be sweet, with banana all the way through. There is a bitterness that almost slips into tart near the end.
