COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Boutip (3455) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 5, 2011
Bottle: Poured a clear yellow color ale with a nice pure white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of wheat malt with notes of lightly spice yeast is quite interesting. Taste is also a mix between some wheat malt with light banana ester and a good spicy yeast profile with light herb notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. I quite like that one even though I am not sure what I am drinking.

mile (1447) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2011
Bottle. Light yellow, very small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light spiciness and herbs. Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel, light spiciness and herbs. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some caramel, light spiciness and herbs. Light, sweetish and spicy - not for me.

Pours a weak straw yellow, almost transparent with a big frothy white head that over flowed the glass. Aroma is pine, orange and mild malt. Taste is a little like a pine forest with orange bitterness and a weird malt aftertaste. I can’t quite place it. Back to the R&D.

341 ml bottle purchased at La Saucisserie BDF in Bois-des-Filion (Quebec), on August 21, 2011. Blonde wheat, a lot of heads. Aroma of wheat and spicy herb medicine, slightly sweet. Taste of malted wheat, spices, dry and very herbaceous, notes of stewed vegetables. An interesting beer and project !

Gold, almost yellow body with white foamy head. Smells of coriander, bread and apple juice. Too smooth in mouth. Missing maltiness and bitterness. Some great yeast hints at final but nothing to upgrade my score.

Beautiful to look at with its dense, lasting white tower of foam above its hazed very pale golden coat. Mellow lemony citrus accents blend with clovey/phenolic spiciness and wonder bread white doughiness. Very easy to drink, but not particularly engaging .Very timid maltiness, the agressive carbonation not helping, it seems to be almost pure foam we have in mouth, with a fair bit of carbonic acid that dominates the finish with a vague spiciness. Some Hefeweizen characterictics, but without the cereal structure.

341 ml bottle from Broue Ha Ha, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. BIG GUSH.

App.: Hazy light golden with a large, frail white head. Aroma: Lots of yeast and wet bread dough, soapy citrus and coriander, some esters, a tangy fruit note and a bit of resinous hops?, more wet dough, meh. Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence. Flav.: More fruity and estery than the nose, still plenty of bread dough and yeast, lighter lemony coriander, a touch spicy and herbal, not awful; dry with minimal bitterness and a somewhat pleasant bread dough and yeast finish, a bit of lemon too.

I hate gushers. The beer was...fair.
