Almost taste more like a saison than a hefeweizen. Pours golden with foamy, volative head and lacing. Has some hay and bubblegum and the hefeweizen yeast. Bitter and a touch sour in finish. Pretty fizzy with carbonation. Bottle.

Pours hazy straw yellow with a small white top. Aroma is wheat, soapy, yeast. Taste is astringent and bitter hop but not much flavour, wheat and yeast. Would be better on a hot day.

Bottle as an extra from Tommy, a thank you sir. Cloudy yellow pour in my glass, white head with lacing o’plenty. Big yeasty citrus/lemon smell. Lots of carbonation, some nice citrus flavours, a little wine/grape like with a semi dry finish. Tasty stuff.

Bottle, thanks Colin. Also had this on tap at L’Autre Oeil earlier this summer, but this rating is based off of the bottle. Cloudy, murky, hazy medium to dark yellow with a fizzy head. Strong yeast, wheat, citrus aroma - also a bit of sweetness in there too but I am not sure where that is coming from. Well carbonated body features a lively strong wheat taste. Well hopped, lots of lemon and citrus. Really strong alcohol and a bit sweet in finish. Substantial sipper disguised as a refreshing wheat. Neat stuff.

Bottle 341ml. Pours very hazy blond/whitish with medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of yeast, bananas, citrus. Taste is of yeast, bananas, citrus, bitterness, sugar. Palate: Medium body. Some residual sugar, kind of not too much, but close to be, so balance is not too shabby. Overall: Very yeasty (maybe a tad too much taste-wise). A pretty nice beer.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with large pure white foamy head with good retention and some retention. Aroma of banana and bubblegum notes are quite pleasant. Taste is also dominated by nice banana ester with light bubblegum notes and solid wheat malt base. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Solid wheat ale and a perfect fit for the summer.

Bottle (341 ml). Hazy yellow/golden with a medium mostly lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is yeasty with wheat, spices, citrus, herbal notes and banana. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet and moderately yeasty with spices, herbal notes, citrus, wheat, light banana, alcohol and light warming from the spices/alcohol. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly dry mouthfeel. Good Hopfensweisse with an interesting spicy profile, but a tad too boozy and sugary to be thirst quenching.

On tap at L’Autre Oeil (Gatineau-Aylmer, QC). Hazy golden body with a good white foamy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with orange, herbal, and yeasty hints. Taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries coriander notes and ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Well done.
