COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Projet Américain.

Bottle 341 ml. Bought at Peluso (Montreal). Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Aroma: earth hops, pineapple, malt. Taste is malty with strong bitter finish. Balance is so-so. Thin beer. I expected more from this beer, since I have read so much great reviews on this brewer.

I keep trying, I really do. But it more of the same - sour, slightly metallic malts and decent hops. I’ll take my beer with extra gluten, please.

Gotta say that I was surprised by this score. This is a pretty good stab at Gluten free. Bitterness is up front, followed by a citrus note. There is grain flavors that burst in after that. The only downside being a mineral flavor that I get at the very back end. But I have had that with gluten full beers.

from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - pretty clear dark amber-blond beer under a giant foamy head; aroma of almonds, corn and fruits; some artificial sweetness, a good malt body, tart corny finish, some bitterness and a light residual sweetness with more flowery and caramelish notes in front of faint fruity tones

Amber color with white head. Bad medical aroma, phenolic and yeasty. Light sweet with malty flavour.

34 cl bottle, 5.5%, 2.90€. Almost exploded while opening, pours 100% foam, nasty cider smell. Holy crap a beer with such enormous head never seen before, just ridiculous, can’t get the glass filled in 10 minutes, pure soap, absurd. Copper color, partly hazed with particles. Undefined flavor, with faint grains and a load of green apple peel dipped in brown sugar. Fairly fruity with an unrefined hops counterpart. Tastes like homemade-kit brew, taste itself is acidic. Yuck. Maybe good for a gluten free, but i didn’t like it at all.

Good hopping and aroma but the sweetness is a bit odd perharps, body and mouthfeel aren’t perfect. At first taste is really nice but the more you drink it the more it doesn’t taste like beer.

On tap at St Augustine’s in Vancouver. A medium amber ale with a bit of pale head. Nose is faintly sweet. Some resinous hop detected up front. The only other taste impression is distinctly odd, due no doubt to an absence of barley in the grain bill. Blech! 2.5.

Draught, St Augs. Light amber. Toasty, with fruity hop. Light, bit thin, lots of hop. Herbal, almost sharp bitterness. Brown rice taste towards the finish. Lots of hops. Wow, gluten free has come a long way.
