3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very good beer I tasted it at the festibière de québec. It’s so far the best beer without gluten on the market very nice discovery. Good start for this new brewery!

Well this is the GF Coors Light or Bud Light. Absolutely no flavour other than cloying sweetness at the finish. Leave it to the LCBO to choose possibly the worst beer from this brewery lol. All the hallmarks of a bad beer: no aroma, no head, no lacing, no finish: just sharp and thin. The only thing interesting about this beer is the odd finish as it warms: i’m not sure it’s a pleasant taste but it is interesting lol. The only way to drink this is ice cold on a hot day and keep your expectations low. Way better than other GF beers LCBO is carrying, other than St. Peters. I’m laughing my ass off reading the reviews talking about the wheat taste! it’s GF people and that is corn you are tasting.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
[Can (473ml)] Pours a clear gold with an average size quick-diminishing frothy white head. Aroma is odd but I don’t dislike it. It’s grainy and lightly hoppy along with light sugar, apples and something I can’t place. Slightly watery flavour starts with grain and that thing I can’t place (millet maybe?) followed by hops in the finish. Average bodied. It’s an odd beer for sure, and not for everyone based on the the ratings -- but I didn’t mind it. Addendum: The beer got slightly worse over time.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden yellow with smallish white head. Aroma is big on sweet apple with some lemon and a bit of a floral note. Flavour also has lots of apple-y character with lemon, a little pepper and light floral hoppiness. Mellow carbonation. One of the better gluten free beers I’ve had, though not sure that says too much.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from Beer Wine & Co. Hazy golden body with fast-receding head. Nose is hoppy, grainy. Taste also grainy, of wheat and straw then gets hoppier, with a metallic, citrus finish. Pretty decent though.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
50 cl can @ Timo A. BBE 10/2016.
Pours very pale clear golden color with a small white head. Herbal and perfumey aroma, some hay and grass, some pear too. Flavor (yes, there is some faint flavor) has pear and herbs, mild grass and grain. Bitter palate. Not good at all.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can from the lcbo. Aroma of musty apples, wet paper, buckwheat, and some light lemon zest. The body is watery, the carb is good. The finish lacks any bitterness, finishes slightly sweet, with an odd wheat/apple thing going on. Yuck.

0.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
473 ml can left in my beer fridge after a gathering. Clear apple juice colour, no head. Has a cidery smell. Bland sweetish cidery weak beer taste. Flat carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Drainpour. Feel really bad for celiacs. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours perry color with a foamy white head. Aroma actually is mild fruit. Med minus body. Flavor is sweetish, fruity, and most prominent is some sort of spice that isn’t very pleasant. Like rye in impact but a galaxy away from rye in flavor. Not a fan.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Sampled from the bottle @ Medicine Hat Beerfest 2015. Extremely pale yellow, minuscule head. Low aroma of cooked noodles and phenols. Flavours are timid but not pleasant, mostly bandaid and papery cereal. Weird and unpleasant.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can. Very light amber pour, weak head, decent aroma of light malt and hops. Taste is light malt with some balancing hop bitterness. Light, subtle, but I think true to the style. Most importantly, I would never tag this as a gluten free beer. I would just think of it as a very light beer. I think they did a good job, and I’ll come back to this regularly.
