COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Very good beer I tasted it at the festibière de québec. It’s so far the best beer without gluten on the market very nice discovery. Good start for this new brewery!

At Cask Days 2014. Mild cider-like fruitiness, floral hops, almond, dry finish. Not so bad for a gluten-free beer but nothing exciting either.

Pours a clear golden with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of flowers and citrus, surprising. Taste is dry and carries a lot of fruits: pears, litchi and citrus again. Bitterness level is low to medium but still higher than your usual blond. Body is light and carbonation high. I’m impressed!

from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - fucking gusher ... hazy blond beer under a solid white foam; fresh fruity aroma of pears; light sticky palate, medium-bodied, some sweetness and a late corny tartness; the finish is clean and fruity, gently bitter - pleasant

A clear light gold pour with a thin soapy head. Weird yoghurt grape & fruity aroma that is a bit white wine like. Med-light bodied with a slightly rough mouthfeel. The taste is pretty good fruity vanilla & grapes again somewhat white wine like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

34cl bottle. GAH! Just right to quote Frank’s review: "Holy crap this stuff is bad. It is made from millet, corn and sugar rather than your usual malt and/or adjuncts and somehow tastes like a bland, bitter apple cider gone horribly wrong". Ultra pale yellow with particles in suspension, thin disappearing head, smells bad already. Cider (and I don’t like cider), sour green apple, lemon, white wine. Metallic bitterness, thin body, acidic, alcohol noticeable already. Not for me, sorry.

Beers like this are punishments sent from on high because we’ve become the kind of people where intolerance to certain foods can somehow become trendy. Holy crap this stuff is bad. It is made from millet, corn and sugar rather than your usual malt and/or adjuncts and somehow tastes like a bland, bitter apple cider gone horribly wrong. It is a crystal clear gold color and while it does foam for a few seconds it is all but entirely headless. It doesn’t smell like much of anything, aside from maybe being faintly fruity and have a note that is not entirely dissimilar from Elmer’s Glue. Once tasted, some odd apple-ish fruity tones become all too apparent. It is watery w/ mild carbonation. This does use regular hops but it has a bitterness that seems to come from other source making it sort of paradoxically too bitter and not bitter enough. By the end of the sixteen ounce can, I am finding myself wincing after each sip. I don’t know. It just seems there has to be better options out there for people with legitimate gluten allergies other than terrible, terrible beer.

Faint citrus aroma, not much going on. Corona Lite yellow color. Taste is a white wine sweetness, dry grainy finish. Light papery body, again with wine like qualities. Very different in a not so bad way.

From the 473 ml. can. The pale yellow pour is so pale it almost looks like water. A quick burst of white fizzy head and then gone. Not to much to talk about in the aroma. Some toasted biscuit perhaps. Grass. Nothing more. There is actually a rather irritating gaseous fumes quality to it. How thin can a body be? This is watery. Maybe a touch of toasted biscuit malt in the taste and a clean, crisp finish. It is challenging for me to find any Gluten-free beers that I like but they serve a purpose. Bronze medal in 2012. Good for them.

16 oz can. Lightly sweet nose of flowers, also that wild and unrestrained millet/buckwheat character. Pours clear pale yellow with heavy carbonation and a fizzy, soapy white head. Medium body lightly grainy, a little fumy without booze breaking out, , lightly crisp with faint lemon and vanilla, otherwise of semi-sweet malt sugars. Low bitterness really only in the finish, which is a tad rubbery. Not terrible!
