Bottle. Pour deep yellowish brown with a lacing tan head. Sweet, spicy and yeasty caramel aroma. Hints of aniseed among the spices, otherwise yeasty caramel flavours. Noticeable alcohol. Decent.

Bottled at Kerstbierfestival 2007. A deep red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, as well as lighter notes of spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is powerful and the alcohol leaves a burn on the tongue.

75cl, alias Super des Fagnes Noël, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, not balanced, clear, good head, nice X-Mas brew

A Mes rate: Bottle at Kerstfest, Essen.
Very cloudy, murky dark brown. Looks like it is full of sediment. Not a good colour. Lovely balanced malt and hops aroma with strong tobacco notes. Tastes like it’s slightly infected. Straight forward yeasty Belgian stuff with obvious card in the finish. All over the place. Is it drunk?

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is raisins, alcohol and caramel malts. Flavour is quite much the same, but also has some notes of plum and dry dark fruits in it. Pleasant.
