Draft at the brewpub. Murky brownish red. I must have put a quarter in the bubblegum machine, because gumball is all I think about. It manages to be drinkable in the 4oz size but after that, I might have left it over. These guys make superb beers (eg. the flagship pale and Inertia...) but not Belgian styles. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very banana and marshmallow nose. Very bubblegum. Lasting elixir finish. Very sweet. Okay.

Cloudy, dull amber, and no real head, big bubblegummy phenols...argh...this is a blend if Chimay and Duvel yeasts but probably fermented at too high a temperature because neither of those breweries are so phenolic. Sweet but the taste is actually nice...good strong muscular alcohol, with slight bubblegum and sticky amber malts.

Not a fan of Belgian strong ale. Reminds of spicy Christmas cake. Fruity, spicy. Alcohol taste. Too strong for me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Brassneck, pours an opaque murky dark burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, Christmas spices, and Belgian yeast. Flavour brings out lots of Belgian yeast, dark fruits, and light spices. Extremely well-balanced, with a nice spiciness and dry dark fruitiness. Not my favourite style, but this is brewed very well. Great stuff.
