3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at brewpub. Very dark brown with a light tan head. Easily distinguishable from Inertia bc of head color but otherwise similar. What malt is there? It's got a touch of chocolate malt but not a lot. It's got a muesli thing. Not toasty, not sweet. Not husky. Just right. Compelling and pure. Nourishing. Healthy. Dry.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown, aroma is a bit nutty and a hint if choc. Dry, full-flavoured, nutty and a touch chocolatey. Good complexity...dry hoppy finish but lots if body as well.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thin, quick dissipating brown creamy head atop an opaque body. Nose of coffee and vanilla. Oddly oily palate yet thin. Flavour is quite sweet with a gritty finish. Good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
473mL growler, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of mostly roasted malt, with some dry cocoa, and fudgy molasses. Flavour brings out more of the same, with medium roasted malt upfront, with some secondary notes of espresso and chocolate, followed by an earthy quality. Finishes lightly roasty, chocolatey and dry. Highly drinkable stout. Great stuff.
